Firstly most of the staff on board were fantastic HOWEVER So disappointed with so many things. Firstly I echo what others have said about the food - the quality in the complimentary restaurants on occasions was so poor we sent it back. Buffet breakfast and lunch was fine. Our suite was fine. Boarding and port disembarkation were outstanding. Crew was mostly very good and friendly. However, the cruise line has gone downhill. Soups, other than specialty restaurants are water. Rolls were rocks. Ice cream tasted like milky ice, couldn’t detect any vanilla flavoring. The Whiskey Bar staff was rude. One guy told me I couldn’t get a cosmo there, but I did the day before.

Overall the entire cruise on NCL was an OKAY experience. Nothing exciting or WOW or so horrible to rant on cruise critic. The entire experience was just a mid tier level experience which is not one would expect from a transatlantic cruise on NCL. However the good was that NCL made all the ports with no cancellations. The Pearl is an old ship that doesn’t offer much in the way of amenities. We were on a 14 day Transatlantic cruise with a total of 6 sea days. The food is just awful, no other way to describe. Tbe rice in the buffet put a whole new level of Al dente. Buffet is tge worst, hard to believe any chef would put that stuff out. We chose this cruise because it was so inexpensive (our airfare was as much as the cruise); only going to places where walking distances or long bus rides to excursions. Husband uses a rollator for serious back issues. We tried to get spots on snorkeling at both Harvest Caye and Cozumel (HC was sold out on the first day NCL took reservations online. Cozumel was cancelled due to the weather;
