Hello. So I just switched my switch card to fat32 and I was able to install certain large games with a splitter tool and Tinfoil. The game in question being Super Mario Odyssey 1.0.0. I could also install the 1.2.0 update, but since I can't use online anyway I'd rather have some 1.0.0 exclusive glitches. I was wondering if it is possible on cfw to get a version of a game running that the switch won't let you run normally. What I'm trying to bypass is the message window when you start a piece of outdated software that says "A software update is required. Update data will be downloaded now." With the only options being Cancel and Download. Is there some way around this or do I need to manually install the 1.2.0 update to play it?

Actually yes. Use tinfoil and delete the odyssey ticket update and the update itself. It will nag, but this time you can start the software without the update.

Thanks for your reply. Upon booting up Tinfoil and selecting delete common tickets, I've found that both the list doesn't display or scroll properly, and it fails to differentiate the updates from the base games. Personal keys seem to just be things I've legitimately downloaded off the eshop, so I'm not screwing with that ever. Anyway, this seems both sketchy and easily breakable, so I'm going to err on the side of saftey and do nothing. The alternative is being very, very sorry. Guess I'll stick with 1.2.0. Thanks anyway.

Ummm... What version of tinfoil are you using? Because scrolling on my end is just fine. It's not going to break anything. As the tickets you can delete aren't system tickets or anything like that. The other alternative. Is to format your switch which clears all common tickets and personal.

The nightly build from a day or two ago, let's see - tinfoil-15fcd94. Yep, ticket list is totally screwed up; it won't scroll upward and my cursor goes off the screen where I can see neither it nor what I'm selecting. Good.

Use Devmenu. Devmenu can remove these tickets, but since it doesn't work on 6.0 then maybe not.
