The amount of RAM needed for a Soulmask server depends on factors like the number of players and server settings. Generally, a server with 12GB RAM should be suitable for small to medium-sized player communities. All of our plans offer unlimited RAM.
Our basic Soulmask server hosting package costs $16/month for 10 players. Our largest plan is $42/month for 50 players. We price our game hosting plans based on the max player count--not RAM.
We have servers in California (NA-West), Texas (NA-Central), Montreal (NA-East), and Germany (EU). You can select the location to minimize latency for you and your players.
Our largest plan allows a maximum of 50 players. NOTE: Because Soulmask is newly released, the game can become unstable as the server population increases. The stability of the server will depend on player count, mod selection, and general server settings.
The minimum requirements for a Soulmask server include a stable internet connection, sufficient RAM (at least 12GB), and a dedicated machine or a virtual private server (VPS). It also helps to have a loyal community of gamers to play with--especially if you have a PvP server.

System Requirements
To run a Soulmask dedicated server, you'll want a system with at least 12GB of RAM and a quad-core processor. You will also need a minimum 20GB of free storage. The operating system should be Linux (Ubuntu 16.04+), Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit), Windows Server 2012-2022. Modded servers will require even more processing power.
Installation
You can install the server from your Steam library or use SteamCMD.
For Linux:

For Windows:

Starting the server
You can launch the dedicated server from your steam library which will give you a terminal window to view.
You can also run the server by using command line in the server's directory:
