Filthy Rich Vampire Playboys by Gisele St.Claire a filthy rich four-star read. Serena Sexton just try’s to do her job well, and in the process if she helps some woman along the way all the better, but what happens when it starts as a job and becomes so much more, four hottie’s are way more than she imagines. This is a super steamy thrilling read.

Excuse me if I'm reading it all wrong but what the heroine made me go through was...not good. From the very start, I was uncomfortable of the heroine's hard-on for a proof to 'humiliate' the filthy rich playboys.

Side note: my god, what is with everyone's bitterness with people who are born rich? Green and envy isn't really a good look on anybody. Plus, please don't give journalism a bad rep. I worked with a very pleasant, hardworking, objective, critical and very professional journalist/teacher in high school and I will forever be in awe of her. Journalism isn't poking fun of family issues or 'unraveling' private lives of the filthy rich people or writing revenge articles for men who have wronged you. Please.

And though I haven't really connected to the heroes, they have been nothing but kind and non-judgemental to the heroine. Even if said woman was snide almost every time she spoke with them. I cringed throughout her POV. But she's the 'one' for them so...good luck, guys.

The twist at the end was anticlimactic. And I don't remember the heroine being sincere about her apology or anything for the sake of redeeming herself.

This is not just for me I guess.

This is a reverse harem story with some insta-love. But it's way more than that.

Serena works for Reveal magazine and she's under cover trying to get a story about the FRAP, Filthy Rich and Playboys. They are four guys who are as close as brothers, living the privileged life in Malibu. But they hurt the wrong girl and she wants them exposed. They have hobbies, but none hold an actual job. It's all about partying and women.

These four men (Carter, Jayden, Flynn, Smith) are a handful. But also, they are so much more than they first appear. Everyone has their secrets! The four want one woman to share. The search has been long but maybe Serena is the one!

The chemistry is explosive! Serena will have to chose her job or the four men who are more than they appear to be. A job, that was the most important thing in her life, comes into question. Maybe her dream for the future has changed.

Unfortunately this story didn't do it for me.
Don't get me wrong. The writing and editing was technically allright.
It seems I built up an intolerance for heroes/heroines with a hidden agenda to humiliate/destroy/harm people for any (un)justified reason whether they be "journalists" (and I use this term loosely for these kind of characters) or going on a revenge of some kind or other.
That's the reason why I didn't like Serena's character, at all.
The story itself was somewhat silly (I mean the guys are young, handsome, uber rich, famous, why to be a vampire too on top of everything else, come on! ) the plot twist and ending was bordering on unsatisfactory for my tastes.

I really need to stop reading books that have a lead journalist. I have nothing against gossip, I don't mind movies about them, but something about reading what they think about makes me irritated. Irritated in a "I don't care, I'm going to keep scrolling." That being said....I did enjoy the other parts of this book.

Is it one of my favorite vampire books? Nope.
Is it one of my favorite vampire RH? Nope.

But I didn't hate it. It wasn't a hit but it wasn't a miss. I will be reading the next book. I'm invested enough that I want to know what happens to them! So I give that props.

ok....a different view on a vampires way of life!!! But not too terrible (ha! I preferred it to twilight!!!).

I can't help but feel this was almost a run up to something tho. Like setting the scene almost. I may be mistaken tho!

I'll be picking up the next one when it comes out (its predicted june 18) with hopes that it does pick up. If it doesn't...then that will be the last one I DO pick up.

Wow, I loved it. I couldn't put this story down even for a minute. Serena is awesome. She's strong & very sassy. The four men; Carter, Flynn, Smith, & Jayden are gr8. So close, yet such different personalities. 5 Thumbs up. I recommend this read

Serena thought she could just waltz into the world of filthy rich playboys and get a story for her magazine.Little did she know that she would be the one the tables were turned on.

Unexpected

This was a good read. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it and I was pleasantly surprised. I especially loved the twist about Serena. I like that T-shirt made clear that there isn’t just vampires but other supernaturals as well.

This for me was just an okay read. The storyline was good. The writing too. It just lacked something for me.

What a ride and so much fun. Four playboys who also turn out to be vampires, looking for one woman for the four of them. Sexy, fantasy which doesn't disappoint.
